Diversity of Life - Land Snail Update
Land snails are required to conduct "Investigation 8: Snails" from the Diversity of Life course.
The following states allow the transport of land snails with a valid permit. To obtain a valid permit, follow the instructions on the Obtaining Land Snails Checklist .

If your state does not permit the transport of land snails, you should skip Investigation 8 and conduct "Investigation 9: Roaches." We are aware that customers in some states (currently Alabama, Hawaii, Florida, Louisiana, Michigan, Nevada, and Tennessee) are unable to obtain cockroaches. In states where cockroaches are not permitted or if you are uncomfortable working with the roaches, you have the option of using superworm beetles (Zophobas morio) for this investigation. The two insects work interchangeably in this investigation.
