Equipment Kit
Active learning requires materials. FOSS includes those materials in sturdy front-opening drawer-and-sleeve kits. Inside are high-quality materials and equipment packaged for a class of 32 students. Resources include student laboratory equipment, videos, posters, and sets of instructional cards. Consumable items are supplied for two class uses before replenishment is necessary. The kits contain everything needed to teach the modules with the exception of live organisms, food, and some common classroom items such as tape, pens, or scissors.
Refill Package
Economical refill packages are available for each module to replace the consumable items used during the investigations. Each refill package contains enough materials for two complete class uses of the modules.
Live Organisms
Live organisms are required, but not included, for some of the modules. The organisms can be purchased separately via coupon cards. Please allow 3-4 weeks for processing and delivery.
